Sweet Pea Smoothie
TGIFAF (Thank God It’s Fine Art Friday). Looking to shake up your smoothie game? I’ve got just the thing for you. Now I know this sounds a bit odd, but peas in a smoothie is absolutely delicious. They are full of protein, fiber, and those little green guys are a vitamin powerhouse. Combined with creamy coconut milk, fresh ginger, and cooling mint, it’s a flavor combination written in the stars.
Sweet Pea Smoothie
Ingredients:
3/4 C frozen peas
4 dates, pitted
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp ginger, grated
1/4 C raw cashews
1/2 C coconut milk
1 C cashew milk (any plant based milk or dairy milk will work)
20 large mint leaves
1 C ice
Put all ingredients except for the ice into a blender. Blend until everything is pureed. Then add ice and blend until frothy and smooth.
