Citrus Chili Salt

You guys! I made a video for this week’s Fine Art Friday! And it’s inspired by this awesome citrus chili salt! It’s super easy to make, comes together in under 30 minutes, and will liven up just about any dish. Oh, and people will probably think you’re fancy AF when you tell them you made it yourself.

Citrus Chili Salt

Ingredients:

1/2 C fleur de sel or fine sea salt

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tsp lime zest

1 tsp orange zest

1 tsp grapefruit zest

1 tsp aleppo pepper (red pepper flakes will also work if you can’t find aleppo)

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Place salt mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
